Damn rain. It just won't let up. These days Eli and Maltsby prop themselves in front of the windows and bang and pant their grievances to all the passersby. Only a couple of more weeks of the rain and then ABRACADABRA it will vanish. Presto chango. So we've been told.
Meanwhile, I can't get The Cat in Hat out of my mind.
The sun did not shine.
It was too wet to play.
So we sait in the house
All that cold, cold, wet day
Meanwhile, my Grade A cousin, Marie and Raehan are bringing rays of cheer my way with a virtual baby shower. How incredibly dandy is that? You all, you pummel me with thoughtfulness. I'm beaming.
Meanwhile, every one is gentle in reality. You and all the monsters. Thank you left and right and up and down. Bring on the wisdom, friends.

;-)
Let the sun shine in!!! (Waving arms to & fro...)

The Sun will come out tomorrow. And if not tomorrow one day soon. On my 2 all too brief visits to Japan, it struck me that they have the majestic Mt. Fuji ion their backyard and most of the time it is obscured by cloud cover. Enjoy the shower. I have to go to work, but I'll be back for cake and punch later.

Thinking of you from here in Cairns...you really aren't that far away now since I live in Far North Queensland. I will be knowing exactly what you mean in this post in November where it is known around these parts as the 'Wet Season'. It runs until April. Great. Something for me to look forward to.

Surprise!! MommaK, Marie and Raehan were good little elves to set up a long-range shower for you, which you so eminently deserve. Good luck on the trail ahead.

Good Lord! You're still here!? Shouldn't you be somewhere else, like... having a baby or something!?
As for the rain, I feel your pain (heh, that rhymes) - it's been yucky here, too, lately and I've about had enough!

Awwwww...what a sweet picture. I'm glad we made you smile through the rain drops and the swollen ankles. I wish you were here so I could take care of you and your little boys (one hairy - one not). The wait will be over soon as will the rain and you'll be holding your Henry in your arms. That willbe a good day.
You'll be fine, I know, because you are so brave and such a good mother. It goes without saying that I miss you and love you. I am thinking and praying for you every day.
xoxoxo

The rains are finished here. It is quite nice to not have to plan a day around rain.
You're going to get through this mext. Breath. That's my labor advice to you. Pick a spot to focus on and take slow breaths, or low moans, or do the hee-hee breaths out. Whatever works and helps you focus away from what's going on.
It's quite an amazing journey.
